Florists and flower businesses are close neighbors of garden centers, and many nurseries run a florist counter of their own. Retail florists build arrangements to order and deliver locally, floral designers work by appointment for weddings and events, flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, and flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies, tulips and sunflowers, sold by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own. Ordering from the shop directly usually means more flowers for the money than going through a national website.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 10 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (570) 823-7796. Wilkes-Barre is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Wilkes-Barre is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.
